Upcoming NERC OpenStack Platform upgrade to version 17.1 will occur from Thursday December 12th, 2024 from 8:00 AM until Saturday, December 14th, 8:00 PM.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
- We are planning to upgrade our NERC OpenStack Platform to version 17.1. This upgrade will provide enhanced features, performance improvements, and additional security & compliance measures to support your work and ensure a reliable cloud experience. This major upgrade has been long-pending, so we are reserving a 3-day window for this process to ensure a smooth transition.
- The NERC OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) will remain available during this time.
NOTICES
- We recommend saving your work and preparing for the downtime in advance.
- NERC OpenStack’s Horizon dashboard and other OpenStack API services may be inaccessible at times during this process.
- This upgrade process should not affect the state of your VMs, persistent storage, or data stored in volumes and object storage.
- Please be aware that during this maintenance, project, and project change requests for NERC OpenStack Resources will not be accepted and approved.
- We are reserving the three days, as this is a major and long pending upgrade to our cluster. It can take more or less time, so we urge you to keep an eye on https://nerc.instatus.com/ to get the progress during this time.
